CesiumAstro is growing in Texas.
We’ve acquired nearly 270,000 square feet of space in Bee Cave, Texas to expand our global headquarters and scale our advanced manufacturing capabilities. We design, develop and build mission critical space and defense systems that are AI enabled, and software defined.
This expansion represents a $500 million capital investment over the next five years, supported in part by funding from the Export-Import Bank of the United States (EXIM) and the State of Texas’ continued commitment to space innovation and advanced manufacturing.
Why Texas
Texas provides the foundation we need to scale: deep technical talent, a strong aerospace ecosystem, and a pro-business environment where government and community partners understand what it takes to lead in the new space economy.
What This Enables
The expanded facility will house precision electronics and spacecraft manufacturing and advanced engineering operations. Operations are expected to begin on a phased timeline, with the Austin area workforce growing by 550 jobs to over 1,000 employees by 2030.
These are high-technology jobs building mission-critical, AI-enabled, software-defined systems that connect, detect, and defend across commercial, government, and national security missions.
What's Next
Scaling U.S. operations means building the domestic infrastructure needed for an increasingly contested world. More capacity. More capability. Systems built here.
We're grateful to Governor Greg Abbott, the Texas Space Commission, and the city of Bee Cave for their continued support as we expand manufacturing capabilities and strengthen national security from our base in Texas.
